Joshua

Are you now living a life similar to Joshua’s first hours of his calling to lead his people into the holy land?

Joshua a young man just watched his Rabbi and prophet Moses saying goodbye, then even more Moses just left him with thousands of Israelite who traveled hundreds of miles and lived for 40 years in the wilderness preparing to enter the promised land, and become holy people and God’s army, before entering the Holy land ready for God’s war.

Just imagine that you are literally there right now on the east bank of the Jordan river watching this chaos, do a 360 panoramic view, what you see is what the inexperience Joshua saw, he was filled with fear, doubts and not knowing what to do, still had to protect, lead, supply and obey the commands of God to move forward, be courageous and strong enough to go to war and fight..Then the Lord used this scripture to remind him and make him laser focused on (who God is, the mission ahead and who he is in the order of the relationship).

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10, ESV).

How often we become surrounded with the same chaos, with too many unknowns and filled with fears. But yet, God keeps reminding us to be like Joshua not Jonah..

Supernatural vs Natural

Praying and asking for supernatural revelation, but instead trusting the natural “Flesh”.
How many times (this is me) we pray and ask for certain miracles of healings, hopes, wishes and dreams to happen, but instead trusting and believing the Word of God which promises us that God our Father will supply what is good at the right time, even the strong in Faith and fellowship among us have the tendency to shift the core values of their Faith by depending on the lies of the enemy and believing that God is not strong enough, too busy to listen, so overwhelmed to care enough or what they are praying and asking for it is much bigger than God almighty and it is too hard for Him to handle.
The tests, the tries and the trainings of our Faith are all designed by God to make us —with time- more stronger and more useful for His Kingdom and if we have to go to the wilderness once again to be purified once again and regroup so be it..But the undeniable Attributes of God still are and will never change true regardless if we believe them to be true or not; God is always all powerful, all presence and all knowing.
Lord, my prayers are when the real test hits we can pray asking Your Holy Spirit for His Divine decrement to stay steadfast in Your Faith and fight the good fight while pursuing hard your heart. In Jesus name, I pray.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)
“‘If you can’?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
“28 And Peter answered him, “Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.” 29 He said, “Come.” So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind,e he was afraid, and beginning to sink he cried out, “Lord, save me.” 31 Jesus immediately reached out his hand and took hold of him, saying to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” (Matthew 15:28-31)
Jesus said13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:13 (ESV)
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” (Phil 4:6 ESV)

What God might Say?

Aloud voice crying out in the streets looking for someone to hear what the Lord has to say, though after the He has saved them and restored their households they blew their trumpets declaring and calling out a war against Him; the Lord looked but there was no good men there was not one righteous intercessor..instead all has grabbed hold to sin and rejected Him and turned their back to Him, intentionally sabotaging His good deeds and belittling His identity’s fruits in their lives..

Human-beings by nature we gravitate toward peoples who we believe enough in them to go to war with us and they believe enough in us to go to war with them.

Imagine what God our Father might say —After He prepared us for His army by many ways, and conditions, through various tribulations, calamities, setbacks and extreme hardships- to come out of it all restored, pure and our hearts are white as snow, feeling much joyful, our trust and faith much stronger. He sees what is in our hearts and He knows our intentions..

What just might He say?

If we deny Him, His Love, grace and mercy, if we become ungrounded, rooted instead in this life over His glory, forgetting His long history of long list of the lifetime Blessings that He has imparted into our lives? And not only so but more so ignoring and rejecting Him as our only God, our Father and our only King.

As a parent dealing with my children’s ups and downs I can only feel what He feels and it can be joyful and rewarding or stressful, crushing to my soul, wildly painful and radically miserable..

God did not send Moses to Pharaoh to ask him saying “Let my people go” so they can go back to the promised land, no God asked Moses to bring them out of Egypt to the wilderness so He can meet them as their only One true living God and savor and prepare them for war and transform them to be holy people complete in Him before they go into the Holy land. God always looking for ways to help us be prepared and ready for war and be complete in him to be in his image pointing people back Him to be saved before the end of times. God wants us to be like Him and in His image in our acts whenever we encounter peoples and look at them through the eyes of love, redemption and grace, Not judgment, condemnation and disgrace..

Think about this for a second, I assure you it will transform your life, to live it in a way that you will see yourself and your fellowship with God our Father much deeper, much closer, it will offer the path to a greater bond which no one or anything can break out for eternity..

(Jeremiah 2:27-28)
27 who say to a tree, ‘You are my father,’
and to a stone, ‘You gave me birth.’
For they have turned their back to me,
and not their face.
But in the time of their trouble they say,
‘Arise and save us!’
28 But where are your gods
that you made for yourself?
Let them arise, if they can save you,
in your time of trouble;
for as many as your cities
are your gods, O Judah.

(Jeremiah 4:19-22)
My anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain!
Oh the walls of my heart!
My heart is beating wildly;
I cannot keep silent,
for I hear the sound of the trumpet,
the alarm of war.
20 Crash follows hard on crash;
the whole land is laid waste.
Suddenly my tents are laid waste,
my curtains in a moment.
21 How long must I see the standard
and hear the sound of the trumpet?

22 “For my people are foolish;
they know me not;
they are stupid children;
they have no understanding.
They are ‘wise’—in doing evil!
But how to do good they know not.”

(Jeremiah 5:31)
-but what will you do when the end comes?
