Peripatesai – Honoring and Pleasing the Father

“Sincere Christians sometimes become preoccupied, almost immobilized, trying to determine God’s will for their lives. God’s will is not so profound or deep as to be nearly unattainable. It is not so mystical that it lacks practical significance for our daily lives. (The will of God is found in knowing and following Christ personally) It involves living by His power and following His teaching and example every day. Therefore, for Paul, the ultimate aim of knowing God’s will was pleasing God in daily life.” Leroy  Bartel – Prison Epistoles

Paul uses the Greek word “Peripatesai“, translated “live a life,” but which literally means “to walk about.” This word group is a favorite of Paul’s and is often used to characterize the daily life and behavior of the Christian.  “4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4 (NASB)

We are created to give praise and glory to the Lord our mighty Father which exists within everything because He is the Soul’s soul. We must raise and praise Him always and stay tuned in with Him praying for His Honor and His desires; pleasing Him in everything we do and everything we think of doing, staying focused on and daily running after what is Fulfilling to His purpose for us and what makes His dreams for us come true.

Challenging times require radically and intense spiritual measures, but we must do it through His words of truth – Paul said  “7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become (weary) in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” Galatians (6:7-10 NIV)

Lord God fill us with the knowledge of your will for us – “9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, (we have not ceased to pray) for you and to ask that you may be (filled with the knowledge of His will) in all spiritual wisdom and understanding.” Colossians 1:9 NASB

Effective Christian life and ministry flow out of a consistent and continual increase in the knowledge of God. This is not simply theoretical or factual knowledge, but personal knowledge. We should be growing in our relationship with the Lord every day. Those who stagnate or stop growing are in a dangerous position. I earnestly Pray that our Christian life will become an ongoing discovery and adventure for fall fellow believers everywhere, in every neighborhood, every corner, every hometown of this world. Also humbly I need to continue my unstoppable prayers for a revival movement to finally conquer the work of satan daily through saints who are equipped with a deeper indewlling of the Holy Spirit and empowered and led by the will of the Father.
